I never was much for photorealism, but when I saw this beautiful pic in ~Vampiremidnight's gallery, I wanted to paint it in a realistic way.
Oil on canvas 40x60 cm.
Yes, I painted all the bits of the detail individually. And no, it wasn't the hardest part. Just the most boring.
I know it's not perfectly the same, as the girl in my painting tilts her head in a different way etc. But I'm happy with it the way it is. Which doesn't happen too often.
Or maybe I add some more shadows to her face, who knows.
It could use a more creative title. *hint hint*
